An endocrinologist is a doctor who diagnoses and treats disorders of the endocrine glands.
An endocrinologist may send you for additional tests and examinations for the diagnosis of various diseases, consult on the results, and develop a further plan.

How to prepare for a visit to the endocrinologist?
When visiting the endocrinologist, it is advisable to bring:
- All discharge summaries and conclusions received from hospitals, outpatient facilities, and various specialists;
- A list of medications, vitamins, and supplements being taken (with exact names and doses);
- Consider the family medical history;
- Previous blood test results;
- Previous examination results, if any, such as thyroid ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, gynecological ultrasound, bone densitometry, etc.
This information will help the doctor obtain as much information as possible to facilitate timely diagnosis and assessment of further treatment tactics.
