Injections

Injections to remove wrinkles, frown lines and sweating:

Until a definite age the facial skin looks aesthetically and all it needs is appropriate care. However, gradually first creases appear – between eyebrows, along the mouth, crow’s feet in the outer corner of the eyes. Usually the dislike to them develops suddenly – a woman may have liked herself yesterday, but today these lines seem irritating. Now you can prevent their formation with the help of two types of injections. Botulinum injection removes wrinkles and frown lines. It is also a successful treatment against excessive sweating. Hyaluronic acid injections replenish wrinkles and frown lines. These are called lunch break injections as they can be performed within a period of 15- 30 minutes and patients do not have to take a day off. You will not have bruising and swelling that are typical of plastic surgeries. The only limitation – do not apply make up to the spot of the injection on the same day. It can be done the next day.

These type of injectiobs has been known all over the world for a long time. It has widely been used in neurology and to treat children with strabismus. For cosmetic purposes, it is used in a purified and isolated form. Botulinum decreases activity of muscle fibre in the spot of injection, therefore the muscle is not able to contract thus preventing the appearance of wrinkles. The untreated facial muscles contract normally. It is used to remove horizontal and vertical frown lines on the forehead and crow’s feet around the eyes. If injections are appropriately given, the facial expression remains, it can show anger or happiness, but without any wrinkles. All over the world, Botulinum is an optional means widely used to treat excessive sweating in armpits. At first, you have to consult your family GP or endocrinologist to undergo tests which would show the cause of excessive sweating such as disorder of the thyroid gland, diabetes, etc.

Hyaluronic acid

a substance that is naturally part of our skin. If a face has deep wrinkles or frown lines, they should be replenished with this preparation. A piece of human DNA producing hyaluronic acid (involved in tissue repair; it gives volume to the skin) is inserted in bacteria. In the laboratory the bacteria produce this natural substance and then it is injected back in the skin. It is most often used to fill the vertical lines on the forehead; in the correction of the nose- mouth lines, to increase lip volume and improve its shape as well as in asymmetry correction. The injections are made under local anesthesia.

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) for skin repair and tissue regeneration

PRP injections contain mainly platelets, while PRF contains fibrin and other cells in addition to platelets. This protein plays an important role in blood clotting and tissue regeneration. PRF also contains more white blood cells and less fluid, forming a more elastic and structured gel. It is obtained by slower centrifugation, which allows the release of platelets, fibrin and white blood cells. PRF is mainly used in dentistry (for bone restoration after tooth extraction or implantation) and for skin and hair restoration. It is particularly effective in regenerative medicine and surgical procedures.

Applications of I-PRF in cosmetology and dermatology

I-PRF for skin regeneration is one of the most effective and natural treatments. I-PRF injections help to improve skin texture, increase its elasticity and stimulate collagen production. Thanks to growth factors and platelets, I-PRF improves skin texture, reduces wrinkles and combats signs of ageing such as wrinkles.

Hair growth promotion with I-PRF

I-PRF for hair restoration has become a popular method for treating hair loss. It is highly effective against androgenetic alopecia and other hair loss problems as it helps stimulate the hair follicles and promote new hair growth. I-PRF injections into the scalp improve blood circulation, enrich hair roots with growth factors that activate hair follicles and stimulate hair thickness.

I-PRF after surgical procedures and in dental treatment

I-PRF is widely used in dentistry and surgery to promote tissue healing after surgery. For example, in dental implant placement or bone restoration procedures, I-PRF accelerates the healing process and reduces the risk of inflammation and complications. It is also used in the treatment of gums and after tooth extractions to improve the healing process and reduce pain.

Regenerative medicine and joint treatment with I-PRF

I-PRF therapy for joints is particularly effective in treating joint and muscle injuries. This therapy is used for chronic pain, joint inflammation (e.g. osteoarthritis), and regeneration of ligament and muscle damage. I-PRF injections promote tissue regeneration, improve blood circulation and speed up the healing process, helping to reduce inflammation and improve joint mobility.
